Evaluation

This evaluation tool is used to measure the educational activity’s learning outcomes:

 

  • Learners will know: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of a topic as it relates to new systems and larger perspectives, measured by a completed posttest concentrated on each of the weekly objectives for the course.
  • Learners will know how: Both the curriculum and the online classroom are developed to foster participants’ abilities to inquire via identifying and posing questions, designing and conducting investigations, analyzing data and evidence, using models and explanations, and communicating findings.
  • Learners will do: Learners will participate in authentic or real-world experiences in which they engage in dialogue, take action, and reflect on possible outcomes.

 

(Educational Affordances) How well does the training offer supportive activities that build upon the learning content as well as encourage learners to explore subjects within local surroundings, interact within the environment, make use of instructional media and collaborate with peers?

(Social Affordances) How well does the training environment promote learners to engage in activities that support the social-contextual properties and goals of the training (i.e. was the pace of the course appropriate and were comfort breaks allotted)?
